Hotelevator

Hotelevator was made for the 2022 GMTK Game Jam using the GameMaker game engine.

Known Bugs:

If the controls crash or the game breaks for some reason, restart the game. Sorry :(

Controls:

WASD to move, aim with mouse, left click to shoot, E to interact, and F4 to toggle fullscreen.

Gameplay:

Hotelevator is a Shoot 'Em Up where enemies come in waves. The wave count is displayed at the top center of the screen.

Shooting enemies fills up a bar at the bottom center of the screen that makes random things happen when it fills up. They can be good or bad things, so be careful.

Between each Floor, you will get a random stat buff, and so will the enemies. 

Setting:

You've just been invited to a fancy dinner party at the Hotelevator, only to realize it was a trap! Work your way up from Floor 1 to Floor 6 to get revenge on whatever invited you. 

Install Instructions:

1. Download the .zip file below the description.
2. Extract the .zip file in File Explorer.
3. Run the .exe in the new extracted folder.
